What This Extension Does
Vista — Send to Deal Room is a productivity tool that allows Vista users to import call transcripts from supported third-party platforms directly into their Vista Deal Rooms. It does not record audio or video and does not operate outside of the specific transcript platforms it supports.
Supported Platforms
This extension operates only on the following platforms:
- Gong (app.gong.io)
- Fireflies.ai (app.fireflies.ai)
- Otter.ai (otter.ai)
- Fathom (app.fathom.video)
- Chorus / ZoomInfo (chorus.ai)
- Read AI (app.read.ai)
- Avoma (app.avoma.com)
The extension does not operate on Google Meet, Google Docs, or any other platform not listed above.
Permissions and Why We Need Them

The extension does not request <all_urls> or any broad host permission. It can only communicate with admin.vistaroom.app and the 7 supported transcript platforms listed above.
What Data Is Collected
What the extension reads from your browser:
- The transcript text displayed on the current web page of a supported platform, when you click "Send to Vista."
What the extension does NOT collect:
- Audio or video recordings.
- Keystrokes, passwords, or form data.
- Browser history or data from other tabs.
- Any data from pages outside of supported platforms.
- Data while you are not actively using the extension.
How Clipboard Access Works
On some platforms, if automatic transcript extraction is not possible, the extension monitors for a clipboard copy event — that is, when you press Ctrl+C / Cmd+C to copy selected text on the transcript page. This uses the browser's copy event and reads only the text you have actively selected and copied. It does not access your clipboard in the background or without your action.
How Transcript Data Is Used
When you submit a transcript, the text is transmitted securely to Vista's servers and stored in your Vista account. Vista uses the transcript to power the AI features of the Platform on your behalf.
Transcript content may be processed by Vista's AI subprocessors under data processing agreements that prohibit those providers from using your data to train their models. See the Subprocessor List.
Data Retention and Deletion
Transcript data is retained as part of your Vista account. You can delete individual transcripts or your entire account through the Vista web application. Upon account deletion, transcript data is deleted within 30 days.
User Controls
- You control when the extension reads and submits transcript data — it acts only when you explicitly click "Send to Vista."
- You can uninstall the extension at any time through Chrome's extension management page. Uninstalling does not delete data already submitted to Vista.
